This image was passed through the e-mail to me. I discovered it's from a site called DRWEBMAN.com. The web site designer relayed that it could be a Redneck Church sign. I'm not so certain.
Certainly a redneck sign. "Get-r-done" is the catchphrase made popular (if not tasteful) by Larry the Cable Guy, redneck "comedian."
A UU version of this wayside pulpit would read "Get It Done for the Eternal Spirit of Life of Many Names and Cultures Who We Affirm but In Which We Don't Necessarily Believe But It's OK If You Do, Although It's Not Right For All."
Naturally, this would need to be written very small, with footnotes and citations, so nobody driving by would be able to read it.
This blog is for my friends and acquaintances who were formerly with the John Edwards campaign, which had the most progressive agenda. I am a progressive liberal, musing about politics and life.
