Edwards seeks White House, still loves Target, Wendy's
NEW YORK - With her husband considering another run for the Democratic presidential nomination, Elizabeth Edwards says her lifestyle might not change much if the family finally makes it to the White House.
"I shop at Target. We eat at Wendy's," she tells Time magazine in its Oct. 2 edition. "Even though we have a lot and I feel very blessed, we are basically the same people we were when we first started out and made, between us, $28,000 a year."
Edwards, 57, has stayed mostly out of the public eye since her husband, former Sen. John Edwards, and Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, the presidential candidate, lost to the Bush-Cheney ticket in 2004.

There was a Bush staffer who shopped at Target too, only he got arrested for shoplifting.
The Wendy's comment is probably just a blatant attempt to win Ohio :}.
Ihope we do see the Edwards's in the White House in 2 years.

Elizabeth and John eat nearly every year at Wendy's for their anniversary as that is where they celebrated their first anniversary--or they ate their first meal together as a married couple--I forget which. If you look at the 2004 campaign or even the 2003 campaign on Google images, you'll probably find a pic of them.
