This Mansion Makes JRE's look like a NC Cottage
The late Aaron Spelling built a 56,000 sq ft mansion in 1991. It's bigger than the building I work in. His wife has it on the market for a cool $150 mil, according to the latest AP/Yahoo news. It even has a gift wrapping room and it's bordering the LA Country Club.
JRE and EE caught so much flack about their house. But I guess one is not allowed to be wealthy and still care about the issue of poverty.
Never understood why so many got their pantalones in a bunch about JRE's estate, considering he doesn't take many vacations and he is a homebody at heart, just as EE is.

I'm not surprised that the media sought JRE and EE's home out because JRE was a high paid lawyer and a former Senator who was running for President. It didn't matter that JRE made it on his own, meaning he wasn't the son of a rich millionaire, but a son of a mill worker.
Poverty was JRE's issue. IMO, he wanted to make possible for others what he had accomplished thru education and hard work. It didn't come easily to him as some would like to say.
Truthfully, I am glad that JRE is out of the limelight and Obama is doing a good job so far and JRE approved of Obama. So let the filthy rich sell their inflated mansions and let the media go peddle their latest scandals or... oops... news... LOL!

Did you know thay Elizabeth Edwards is a furniture designer?
She is planning to market her own line of furniture soon.
I think she wanted this house so it could be kind of a workroom/studio for her furniture line.
Also, I do agree with Benny.
The Edwards mostly stay at home in thier own house with their children, and that is where I read the upcoming Oprah interview took place.
(On Call has learned that Oprah Winfrey interviewed Elizabeth Edwards, wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards, last week at the couple's North Carolina home. John Edwards was on hand for the event, though it's unclear if the couple sat for a joint interview.)
