MoDo, Have a Pastry

Isn't it interesting, the Pulitzer Prize winning, back stabbing MoDo is caught plagiarizing Josh Marshall?

Same gal who caught Joe Biden?

Same gal who crapped on the Edwardses, in which she called JRE the "Breck Girl?" And quoted by others in the progressive blogsophere? No, I won't name names there.

Have a donut, MoDo, with your latte. And remember to credit your sources when cutting and pasting.

  • And putting an interesting (read fictitious) spin on it. The report I read had her emailing the following:

    "i was talking to a friend of mine Friday about what I was writing who suggested I make this point, expressing it in a cogent -- and I assumed spontaneous -- way and I wanted to weave the idea into my column.

    but, clearly, my friend must have read josh marshall without mentioning that to me.    "

    But the sentences are almost word for word:

    Far too close for it to have been the result of a casual conversation. If she were a college student submitting a paper, the professor would fail her for plagiarism.
