Mr. Benny Moves to FLL

Readers,

I had a busy week packing Mr. Benny for his move to FLL. Yes, that's Fort Lauderdale, FL. It was very hectic, sometimes spirited as he dropped his iPhone in the washer with his clothes. We checked about how to fix it. I think it's fu-bar, as he does.

I don't have many comments about politics this week. I do wonder the latest NE is mainly untrue about Elizabeth Edwards. One should ask if she is concerned about her health and was given edicts before, but thinks she can beat the odds again.

  • Try putting the phone in kitty litter. Supposedly it draws the moisture out. If you think it's a total loss, it can't hurt to try.

I don't buy the tabloid garbage about Elizabeth. She doesn't look close to the end in your photo. Plus as was pointed out in another post, she said in a recent interview "her cancer is "minusculely" worse than it has been." She has even said the treatments need to be changed from time to time so it may be minor to switch medication.

Regardless, since they are separated she can leave her belongings to whomever she chooses whenever she passes (hopefully many, many years away) and no one can say or do a thing about it. The "editors" want to make another buck off this tragedy but doing it at Elizabeth's expense in inexcusable. Why don't they tell all about Hunter as there is plenty of salacious material there to go along with her repulsive photos? Oh yeah, because she's the one feeding them the trash to begin with.

It's sad that John allows it to continue hurting his legitimate children. You think by now he'd be man enough to publicly say he'll support his daughter but he's through with Hunter and anything she says to the contrary is a lie. He's said it through his friends and spokesperson but that hasn't deterred Hunter so he should put an end to it once and for all. So what if she does more interviews? He's finished anyway but he doesn't have to allow his children to be tormented.

  • I hadn't heard of kitty litter but a similar idea with dry rice. Also try using a blow dryer. I know someone who dropped a cell phone in a toilet and the hair dryer did work.

I don't know how much water got in compared to the washing machine but definitely more disgusting. And I've never understood using the phone in the bathroom but I hear people doing it all the time in public restrooms. Either that or they are having conversations with their inner voices.

  • The NE article in print said that Emma Claire was the one who saw Rielle in her mother's bed and in her closet trying on EE's pearls. Supposedly this happened when Elizabeth was on her 2006 book tour. And the source sounded like it was from JRE about her cancer treatments not working.
I think Elizabeth looks wonderful in the photo which Benny posted last week so I'm not buying the NE story. Since Rielle is going to be on Oprah's show in a few weeks why would she need to be selling this current crap?

  • Why would Hunter sell any of the stories she has? She wants money, fame and Edwards. Obviously she wants and needs money since she hasn't earned an honest paycheck for years and barely eked out a living before meeting Edwards. She loves the fame in all the attention she gets (Oprah, etc.) even though she doesn't realize it's really shame and public scorn. She thinks she can still "win" Edwards - even though no one else wants him and he doesn't want her. She's as delusional as he is thinking he'll stage a comeback and she'll be by his side in the spotlight.

Plus it's a bonus that she gets to hurt Elizabeth in the process. It's not a concern of hers that the children are collateral damage. Her GQ coming out backfired on her big time so she thinks Oprah will be her shot at redemption but in the meantime she keeps selling stories to the tabloid milking it for everything they can.

An article about all these women in the news lately summed them up well:
“If you look at them in a broad context and examine their personality traits and their psychological baggage for lack of a better term, what’s common with these women is that they’re typically not happy women,” he said. “They have an ax to grind for something that their father did to their mother, or they were abandoned, or they hold no regard for the value of a family. Selfishness and narcissism are common qualities.”

  • Mr. Benny and I did blow dry it and put it in a baggie of dry rice. We rescued the SIMM and put it in old cell phone too, but it just a pain as this particular cell operated as a PDA too.

  • Sorry you had to be the guinea pig but now we know the rice and blow dryer don't work - at least not all the time. I guess it's still worth a try before tossing it.
