Southland in the Springtime

I've loved this song by the Indigo Girls, "Southland in the Springtime." And luckily, I had a big time springtime event in Illinois this week. Yes, Jim Inhofe, where is global warming when you need it? You got it this week. From 30 in the am to nearly 50 is something global warming, dude.

When I was younger (my mid-20's to mid 30's), I spent a lot of time in GA, and in the GA mountains, about the time the Indigo Girls were getting their music out.
