Moral Leadership Begins by Telling the Truth

JRE, along with Jack Kemp, was on Meet the Press this morning. Iraq was the first topic. JRE was placed on attack immediately about his change of mind concerning his vote in going to war. No matter how Russert tried to trip JRE, JRE said it was a mistake, he took full responsibility, and when asked about coming out about saying, "I was wrong", JRE didn't miss a beat. Essentially, he said that moral leadership, which is lacking in our country, starts with telling the truth.
When when pressed later about running for President again in 2008, JRE didn't evade the question at all: "It is something I am considering, yes". Fair enough.
