Well there was high turnout and a good result. I wound up making calls for moveon.org. I'd done the same thing for the Kerry campaign in 2004. It was clear that a lot was learned between 2004-2006 with respect to how to keep a database, how to do the scripts, etc.
It feels like at least a few people on the "right" side are starting to understand modern political campaigns and tools at a level where they can compete with the Rove noise machine.
I'm sure it also helped to be so clearly correct on so many issues and to have the better candidates. Anyway, I look forward to all this being put to good use for JRE.
This blog is for my friends and acquaintances who were formerly with the John Edwards campaign, which had the most progressive agenda. I am a progressive liberal, musing about politics and life.
