Great to hear Carl Orff's Carmina Burana as the lead-in...Carmina is a pioneering rock opera type event that deserves a revival. Michael Jackson is a truly original genius with packaging and imagery...half black and white cosume, crucifixion body language, etc. Hearkens back to those Greek mystery theatrical events that try to deliver profound lessons.
Have heard AI finalists comment on how hard they are working and how very little sleep they are getting. Adam, please try to get enough sleep. When people don't get enough sleep, the control zones of their brain tend to THIN, and they are less likely to withstand bad impulses. (Hyperactive kids are born with underactive control zones in their brains.) Is it any wonder why so many rock stars crash and burn? And society always blames the victim.
Adam and Kris, get plenty of sleep. May you both stay creative through your eighties. We need you as role models of folks who have very different lifestyles and backgrounds yet get along. "And the children shall lead them...."
